Movie-Goers to Learn About Liberty

National Ad Campaign

“Today the Libertarianz Party begins a cinema advertising campaign that is designed to educate voters on the causes of political oppression, and the solution,” announced project coordinator and Libertarianz List Candidate Terry Verhoeven this morning.

“Thousands of movie-goers around the country will be treated to an enjoyable two-minute animation titled ‘An Introduction to Liberty’—a thought-provoking message highlighting that no government has the right to enslave or to steal from its citizens. The message is one that holds true regardless of the imaginative labels used by governments to justify their behaviour, or the numbers of people encouraging it.”

In pondering just how relevant the ad is to New Zealand at the moment Verhoeven observed, “The message of individual freedom is needed most by countries such as ours where voters still have an ability to effect change for the better, particularly when parties such as Libertarianz are there to seek your vote.”

Verhoeven continues, “As the only political party in New Zealand committed to shrinking the power and influence of government in every area of our lives, Libertarianz’s advertising campaign may be small in budget, but it is huge on substance. I am confident that when compared to the multi-million dollar tax-victim-funded tidal wave of pre-election spin, propaganda and hype that is about to hit the airwaves shortly, our enjoyable short animation—funded solely by voluntary contributions—is something that voters will see as a breath of fresh political air.”
